Q. When will I receive The Black Box?

A. The Black Box is shipped on a quarterly basis. The Black Box will ship in the Spring (last week of March), Summer (last week of June), Fall (last week of September), and Winter (last week of December). Please note we anticipate shipping delays as a result of COVID 19.

Q. How do I know which seasonal release of The Black Box I’ll receive?

A. The Spring order window is December 18th through March 17th. The Spring release will ship to all subscribers who purchased their subscription before March 18th. The Summer order window is March 18th through September 17th. The Summer release will ship to all subscribers who purchased their subscription before June 18th. The Fall order window is June 18th through March September 17th. The Fall release will ship to all subscribers who purchased their subscription before September 18th. The Winter order window is September 18th through December 17th. The Winter release will ship to all subscribers who purchased their subscription before December 18th

Q. When will I be charged for my subscription?

A. If you have selected the Quarterly subscription plan, your payment method on file will be automatically charged, every 3 months, following the day of your initial purchase. If you have selected the Annual subscription plan, your payment method on file will be automatically charged, every 12 months, following the day of your initial purchase. 

Q. How do I update my address?

A. There are two methods a customer can use to update their address:

  1. Update the shipping address for one subscription; or
  2. Update the shipping and/or billing addresses for all subscriptions.
Change the address on one subscription

To change the shipping address used for a single subscription, the customer needs to:

  1. Go to their My Account > View Subscription page.
  2. Click the Change Address button next to the subscription.
  3. Enter the new address details in the form.
  4. Click Save Address.
Change the address on ALL subscriptions

To change address used for all subscriptions, the customer needs to: 

  1. Go to My Account page
  2. Select the Edit link next to the shipping or billing address.
  3. Enter the new address details in the form.
  4. Tick the checkbox: Update the address used for all of my subscriptions.
  5. Save Address.

Q. How do I cancel my subscription?

A. To cancel your subscription, click here to login to your PayPal account. Once logged in, click the settings icon next to “Logout.” Next, select “Payments,” then “Automatic” payments. From there, select “The Black Box,” and proceed to cancel.

Please note that cancellation requests received within 14 days prior to the scheduled shipping dates below will NOT take effect until the next seasonal release period:

  • Spring 2020 Release will ship the week of March 23, 2020: 3/9 Cancellation deadline
  • Summer 2020 Release will ship the week of June 29, 2020: 6/14 Cancellation deadline
  • Fall 2020 Release will ship the week of September 28, 2020: 9/13 Cancellation deadline
  • Winter 2020 Release will ship the week of December 28, 2020: 12/13 Cancellation deadline

Q. If I cancel my subscription, will I get a refund?

A. When a subscription is cancelled, The Black Box assumes this action has been taken to stop the renewal process. As a result, you will receive any release that has been paid for. To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be made within 14 days of your initial purchase or current renewal date. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your initial purchase date or current renewal date, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund. 

Please email customerservice@gettheblackbox.com with any refund requests. Once a refund is processed, you will no longer receive the next scheduled, seasonal release.

Q. What can I do if I am dissatisfied with The Black Box product(s)?

A. If you are dissatisfied with any of the product(s) received, please do not send your purchase back to the original retailer. We strive to make The Black Box experience as seamless as possible for every subscriber. Please send an email to customerservice@gettheblackbox.com with the subject, “Dissatisfied,” and include a detailed description of your complaint, along with the best way to contact you. A member of our team will follow up within 48 hours to resolve.
